As for UTSA, they certainly seem to have a decent football program.
If I am not mistaken, they sold out the Alamo Dome in their first game of the season.
No they didn't, they didn't even sell out their first game of the UTSA program history. I think, they're averaging about 27k in their second season of fbs, not good, but not bad either.
How you anti-prop 3 people can't get your facts straight is beyond me.

Well, on the UTSA page, there is a picture of the Alamo Dome and it looks completely sold out and UTSA is on the field.
I guess they were lying.

Possible, but why would they do that? Just to say that they got a sellout?
They already got the record for highest attended first ever game in NCAA history. Seems after that, whether it was a sellout would be moot.

Who knows. Maybe the attendance of the stadium includes sky box seating and those seats were not available for the UTSA game.
Anyways, my point was that it looks like San Antonio will support this program.
Why wouldn't they?

You need to look at their last 2-3 game attendance.
Starting strong out of the gate is one thing, sustaining it while losing a couple of games (even while still having a winning record), is another.

attendance the last 3 games for UTSA
30,862
23,519
25,784
UTSA was 5-1 when they started these home games
this is a picture of their first game ever.... not bad, but I'm just posting this pic to disprove your statement. The majority of the upper deck is empty, the stadium holds over 65k and the upper deck at the alamo dome sits about 35% of the capacity of the stadium.

I'm just going by what A UTSA poster said. According to him, it was a sell out.
AS I have said before. Isn't it possible that the game didn't sell tickets for the upper deck until they sold out the other tickets?
It's not out of the ordinary for an event to sell out even though the capacity of the arena is actually larger.

Nov. 10 UCF – L
Nov. 17 At Southern Miss – W (new coach, I think this is our lucky night of the season)
Nov. 24 Rice – W
Predicted Record: 5-7
But still..... Buh-Bye Coach Price.
Price needs a miracle over Wisc or OK, and a winning season to stay. And even then, it would only be a 1-2 year extension.
I knew we would struggle. But not this much.
