If Carol didn't die, then what did they put in her grave?

RE: OT: The Walking Dead
The phone was either Ricks hallucination or Carol. I'm betting on Carol somewhere in the prison but won't be surprised if he has a conversation with Lori in his head and says his goodbyes. Then walks out ready to regroup.

No, its not Lori, because he tells the person on the other end that Lori is dead.

Oh! I must have missed that. That was in the preview for next week? I had like 8 people over and everyone was talking after the episode. I'll put it up now. =]

Yeah, it was in the preview. It has to be someone in the group. Carol is really the only option.

Actually two of the graves were empty. T-Dog was the only on buried. Per the Talking Dead episode, the director said the "bloated zombie" ate Lori. That's why Rick started stabbing it int he stomach after it was truely dead.

I thought, wow, I really didn't need to know that.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead
That part about the other zombie eating Lori was a bit of a stretch. It probably worked in the graphic novels but not the series. 2 walker couldn't eat T-Dog in the same amount of time but that one guy ate EVERYTHING, including her bones? Shrug.

Or, what if Carol came and got Lori and it WAS Lori on the phone and Rick thinks someone's messing with him?

This. And I'm putting my bet on the table that he has a chat with Shane.

Good call..... I think it could be a hallucination as well

Sigh, I couldn't keep my meddling self from digging into it and found what happened in the novels but don't want to post it here with this forum not having spoiler tags enabled.

Thanks, don't.... I have tried to stay away from the comics to let myself get involved in the episodes

Yeah, I wouldn't do that. But finding out really didn't help because the situations are very different. Shrug, find out next week! Same zombie time.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead
I don't think it's a hallucination, but I don't think it's Carol either. The director on Talking Dead said that Carol was dead, to which the host was like "Whoa when did this happen." So I don't know if he accidentally spoiled that or if it's supposed to be assumed or if he's trolling.

I don't know who it is, but I don't think it's Carol. I could be terribly wrong though.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead
So, if he is not hallucinating he is speaking to someone that doesn't know that she is dead. That automatically eliminates about everyone else but Carol. Also it's obviously someone that knows her.
