He was a squishy leftie from MA who would say anything to get elected.... He's a clone of Kerry.

Yeah, Romney wasn't a good candidate. Paul would have been better than Romney.

It damn sure would have been fun to watch...04-cheers

Obama wins relection. Way to go RINOs ... you brought out your Massachusetts version of conservatism and lost to the one of the most unpopular incumbents presiding over the most disastrous economy in nearly 100 years. Four more years of flushing this country down the drain. Not that it would be any different with Mittens as President.....

Romney did motivate people (so far, he's taken the popular vote: 38.9M to 37.6M). It's just the fact that you've got Urban vs. Rural america, and it tends to favor urban america every time.

First it was McCain's turn, then it was Romney's. Will the R's bring in some new blood next time around, or will it just be someone elses turn again?

RE: OFFICIAL THREAD OF ELECTION 2012....
I think we need to say no more presidential candidates from Massachusetts ever. I'm not going to rub it in tonight anymore because honestly I won't feel good about Obama unless he reels in his ego and tries to work with both parties more. And I'm not sure that will ever happen.

But I still will say one final time tonight that the Republicans lost because of the female vote and the young vote, and not because of the minority vote. And honestly, it might have been Akin and Mourdouck's fault, more than Romney. But just like I hope Obama moves towards the center, the Republicans have got to move to the center too on the social issues.

It's now official ... we've reached the tipping point.

It's looking like D + 6 in the turnout. It's less than '08 but it doesn't matter. I really never thought that Obama could turn that out given the economy and what happened in 2010. I said I could be wrong about that numerous times, obviously I was.

Obama has too much of an ego to reel himself in. He will still be the same corrupt man he is now and he will more than likely still be the ultra pacifist he is now. He cares more about not protecting Americans than he does protecting them.

I'm sure it won't. I don't think he is capable of reeling in his ego. And besides, he's got an agenda to push. He's not interested.

I think it could be said that the Democrats really had a strong election this year. HUGE wins for Obama and first gay senator in Wisconsin's Baldwin. WOW, I'm happy.

Oh the establishment will want the next person's turn.

But I want any of the following:
Gary Johnson 2016
Rand Paul 2016

Obama is less likely to reach across the aisle now. Not more.

Just curious GTS, but what Republican would you have nominated if you had a choice? One with a realistic chance to will the nomination and election?
