I wish I found this thread earlier. I LOVE this show. I have never been addicted to a TV show, but I certainly am to this one!

No but with a name that simply goes down as "the Governor" it has to be a dictatorship. He's made sure that he's the only person that can bear arms and he probably doesn't take kindly to people getting out of line. Look at how Merle cowered when he got into his face. Merle has definitely seen or participated in whatever happens to people who question him.

About the fish tanks, I'm wondering what the specific reason for having them is. Earlier in the episode that woman said "people cope in their own ways". After the Governor looks at his family's picture, he's automatically compelled to go in that room. I have a feeling that the reason is going to kind of make him both a feared and sympathetic character.

One of the core, main characters is killed, two other original members of the group killed, token black guy replaced with new token black guy... Andrea continuing to be a stupid c*nt. It has to be among the most intense episodes ever.
