I just heard on 94.1 that a Washington Times sports reporter has said that a deal for the Monarchs to play at Maryland next season is all but signed.

I heard a "rumor" from a pretty reliable source while at the UR game a couple of weeks ago. can't wait for that one!

I'd hope we'd take the band to this one too. This should be a good game and one we can be really competitive in.

Now that I think about it, the band could do a lot of traveling next year. Since we're going to be playing in stadiums that can actually hold our full band + fans, there may be more full band trips. This year we had the most full-band trips at 2 (Hampton and Towson). Last night after practice Dr. T basically said 'If we can bus 200 people there and they can fit us, we want to go.' Seeing as we are playing at UNC, UMD, NSU, and if the rumors are true we could also be playing at ECU too... That'd be a lot of fun.

Are we playing anyone at home yet?

I was hoping for Washington (I've got family in Seattle, and I know there's a fairly good amount of Monarchs in Seattle), but they've recently added Idaho State to their schedule. The rumored UCLA game could still happen though.

I just want it to be a winnable game. Though, a win in at the Rose Bowl would be a program changing win IMO. So I hope it's UCLA.
