I have to admit that I'm slighly jealous that ULM gets a crack at them first.
If ANYONE thinks that Tulane has a shot against either ULM or the Cajuns, let me share something with you.
Here's Tulane's rushing totals for the year:
vs. Rutgers: 8 yards
@ Tulsa: 7 yards
vs. Ole Miss: 14 yards
Now, in fairness, the yards lost to sacks are deducted from the rushing totals, but stil....

RE: Tulane
Wow, that's horrid; they are averaging 9.67 per game (which is the worst in FBS) and the next worst is averaging 59.

I watched them against tulsa. That was a definition of dysfunctional. Hope they dont get it together. I dont think Berry will let this team look ahead. Lost Blakes for the year and Moss probably not fully recovered. Time for a backup to step up. If the same offense shows up I sense lots of points in the superdome

RE: Tulane
I can tell you the team is focused on Tulane. They are approaching every game with a one game at a time mentality. Saw a picture of the wall schedule and they only had Baylor on there all week long. Now they have Tulane up there as the only game. O should score 60. I think the backups will start in the 2nd half.

RE: Tulane
I think ULM is too good; and Tulane is too horrible, for an upset to occur on Saturday.
At the same time, I also think -- just based on 25 years of observation -- that Tulane will be "up" for this game, so if there is any week where ULM is tempted to mail it in, I hope this will be the one.
If my suspicions are correct, Tulane will fall short by a close/respectable margin to ULM and then get absolutely massacred in Lafayette. Even though I think ULM is the better team.

I dont know if I see ULM hitting 60, unless there is a deephidden desire to humiliate Tulane. I could easily see a 41-10 type win though.

My brother, you obviously have never visited YOGWF? That would be Ye Old Green Wave Forum... They rival Tech in their arrogance. I hope the hammer is dropped.

I know that the Right Reverent Brother Hugh scored 36 on them with Ole Miss Saturday, though I am quite sure he called off the dogs after a 26 point first quarter out of respect for the injury to their player the week before.

ULM wont take this game lightly. Especially since an asst. done popped off to a ULM coach saying they was going to kick our ass !!!

In terms of smack-talk and "arrogance", Yogwf compares to every other college-team forum the way a drop of water compares to the Gulf of Mexico. Tulane is 21-66 since Katrina (16-66 against FBS opponents): the arrogance has vanished, and Tulane forums now function as a recovery group for relatives of those who died in a plane-crash. With some b*tching and finger-pointing at Tulane administrators (past and present) stirred in for measure.
