Toledo Gets OSU Transfer
Former Ohio State defensive end Kenny Hayes has transferred to the University of Toledo and will be eligible to play next season. The 6-5,285 player was a 4 star recruit by rivals and rated the #7 strongside defensive end in the nation.

He sat out last season as a redshirt. He is a graduate of Toledo Whitmer HS.

Any idea why he choose to leave OSU? Just curious.

You've got to be a Spartan fan in order to read that link.

But a couple things that have been posted is that he originally was reported to be leaving OSU because of migraines but then was headed to Michigan State and supposedly would lose another year of eligibility by going there and also that they chose not to take him after some sort of workout (which was questioned because if true that would supposedly be an NCAA violation) showed that he was out of shape.

That's all the info I have and I think it is going to take someone that is close to Whitmer HS to get us the story.
