She makes money by spreading ignorance and intentionally misrepresenting those on the other side of the aisle, how that is done is somewhat irrelevant to me. They're all useless people who serve no purpose.

The best way to learn is to teach others, some are just like you and have a hard time understanding even the simplest of subjects.

He was a highly intelligent man with the ability to think fast on his feet; a compelling public-speaker with charisma who played the media-game (interviews, press conferences, protests, etc.) about as well as anyone. Of course, he has all the morals and integrity of a two-bit road whore.
Nothing that Rush Limbaugh or Ann Coulter has ever publicly said or done is even 1% as gross and scummy and dishonest as what Jesse Jackson publicly said and did in the hours and days immediately following Martin King's death in 1968. Sixteen years later, when Jesse Jackson was campaigning in the Democrat primaries for president, King's widow proved that she had not forgotten Jackson's treachery. At a critical point in the campaign she endorsed Jackson's main white rival, Walter Mondale, even though Jackson had the public support of just about every black politician in the country. I have read that she wouldn't even speak to Jackson for about 15-20 years after her husband was killed, but I can't verify that. I hope that it's true, though.

Well, the argument isn't who's worse, just how can they still stay relevant and why would anyone follow them.

I love how in every thread you immediately come and bring up someone/something on the conservative side that is "just as bad" to deflect from the actual issue in the thread subject.

We've covered this already, read the thread.

Not at all, I'm just pointing out that it isn't unheard of and that Jackson isn't some outlier that doesn't exist elsewhere. It's not as if I used that to defend ignorant people who support him or his actions.

(07-12-2012 10:08 AM)JerryJeff Wrote: I am currently reading "Hellhound on his Trail" by Hampton Sides. It details how Jackson lied about where he was and what he did after the assassination, going so far as to smear M.L.K's. blood on his shirt to make it look like he had been close by when King was killed. Jackson said that he cradled King's head in his lap, and King said his last words to Jesse. By all witness accounts Jackson was nowhere near King when the shot was fired, and he even hid and wasn't seen for like 20 minutes. In the immediate aftermath Jackson flew to Chicago (hired a P.R. agent) and hit the talk show circuit, still wearing the blood stained shirt.
I had always heard there were some discrepancies regarding Jackson's version of events but I had no idea about the blatant lies.
My question, how did he achieve any "leadership" position in the black community if it is verified that he will say and do anything to promote Jesse Jackson?
Not surprised by that at all. He is pure scum.

That covers this thread, yes. I'm talking about pretty much every thread you post in. This is a recurring theme - I'm just pointing it out.

It's really not, but ok. All I do is point out to those that want to act as those ridiculous people on the left are some sort of outlier, that they aren't.
