When is the UVA Game?

Others with a set date yet?

UVA is December I believe...maybe the 11th?

UVA is December 22nd in Richmond.

Not thrilled with the lineup of that tourney. Average opponent RPI of 221.67 which will not help at large chances.

Yes, except the source I found (thread on Holy Cross's fan forum) had UT-Arlington instead of UT-San Antonio. UTA is way better than UTSA.

I wonder when the tickets for the UVA game will go on sale?

Totally looking forward to the UVA game. May be a must win if we don't manage to ink a couple of good road deals.

Four teams? Well at least one is a future conference mate (punching bag).

This is some pretty poor scheduling... assuring no post season with no CAA tourney.

Having higher expectations is one thing, but giving up completely on a team because of something like this is pretty grade school. "If no one plays by my rules I'm taking my ball and going home!"

Great. Maybe someone who really cares about ODU and will support ODU even in tough times are better off with your tickets.

I have high hopes and expectations for both ODU football and basketball. That doesn't mean I will give up on them if they aren't performing at the level they should.

I'm not a credentialed financial advisor, but permit me to gently suggest that you would be wise to put those seasons tickets up for sale on Craig's List right now.

If you wait on listing them until we lose a game in this less-than-spectacular tournament, their resale value is going to drop dramatically. I would hate for your fragile support for our team to be dashed even more than it already is.

But if it turns out that you are looking to sell, let me know. My cash-tight son may be looking to pick up a set of season tickets on the cheap.

One of ODUs all time best teams lost to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a tournament just like this.

TACC was good that year and the game was in Texas.

That's true, however ODU won the tournament. It was a point system that year and one that I have never herd of before. In that game they shot 41 free throws, we shot 3! Blaine was thinking of official misconduct charges.

True, game was in Texas, but not sure I would have called TACC "good", maybe "not bad"... as long as these games replace the Longwood, Liberty, VMI, and UMES games we play every year, I'm ok with it. Not going to complain until the schedule is released.
