How about "football-only" in the ACC?
A pulse is not required.
Who needs a pulse as zombies are much tougher than the barely living. Don't worry though BE you won't be the first to be eaten as zombies want to eat BRAINS

The closest the ACC gets to a hybrid is Duke, who's an afterthought in football...

You want me to post Missouri State's concerns about NDSU joining the MVFC? It wasn't about how many people live in ND....
“I for one will tell it very openly. I’m not wide open to taking North Dakota State,” Missouri State director of athletics Bill Rowe said. “We’ve got a tough enough league right now. Their facilities are comparable to some Big 12 schools."
The opposition to NDSU all revolved around travel and fears about how adding a strong football program could affect the conference. SDSU is in a small state and had basically no opposition, they actually told the conference that it is either SDSU and NDSU or none of us.
Oh and lakes our admin has no interest in going FBS. You can post these threads a thousand times on every message board on the internet but our AD has made it clear now is not the right time. If we are going to jump we are going to do it right, with a budget that is considered adequate to be competitive.

and yes, I am a grammar Nazi
ROFL!!!
You of all people should lay off laughing at others grammar slip-ups. Many of your posts contain numerous mistakes in grammar. I could easily point out how that Temple education isn't working out.

Who wants us? honestly, our football team deserves the FBS.
If NDSU was a little closer to the MAC footprint they'd be perfect. Can't see the MAC extending that far West though.

Too far north for C-USA, especially considering the weather. I don't know where you guys play, but if it's outside... No way

NDSU plays in the 19,000 seat FargoDome.
Their only FBS option is likely a totally revamped WAC with Idaho, UM, MSU, Portland St, NMSU, Sac St, and UND.

Don't forget your regional partners South Dakota and South Dakota State. That makes 10 for football and offers better protection against a future raid by the MWC.
EAST DIVISION North Dakota \ North Dakota State South Dakota \ South Dakota State Denver(no football) \ Utah Valley(no football) New Mexico State
WEST DIVISION Montana \ Montana State Boise State(no football) Idaho \ Seattle(no football) Portland State \ Sacramento State
You go across the top section of the country and then head down the West Coast. Leave the small schools in the Big Sky.
BIG SKY REMNANTS Eastern Washington \ Idaho State Weber State \ Northern Colorado Southern Utah \ Northern Arizona
LIKELY UPGRADES Central Washington \ CSU-Pueblo
FOOTBALL-ONLY UC Davis \ Cal Poly SLO
This is what the remainder of the WAC should be pursuing with every ounce of energy they have left. Pull the best schools out of the Big Sky and right up into FBS.
