Both good picks. Especially like Pierce for the Ravens. Brooks was NOT even invited to the combine and goes in the 3rd. Brooks turned down Wisconsin coming out of HS and Wisconsin has a ton of OLINE pros.

Not at all. The conference is about wins at the college level. This was a decent year for the MAC, and that's all there is too it.

I found a few of those at a discount store here in Maryland back in the day. Thought about buying them up as a novelty.

Ended up buying one and using it as a door prize at a SB party.

Sorry that they brought violence to you.

He ran a slow-ass combine # and had surgery on both knees. That moves him from "Jennings" range in the 2nd round to late 3rd day.

we had a 31.8% winning percentage of MAc schools versus the rest of the FBS....Im not sure i would go as far to call that "decent"

How many of those games were against top level AQ schools that were played basically for money? If we were playing Big East, Sun Belt, WAC out of conference it would look a lot better.

Surprised Eric Page or Lavon Brazill haven't gone yet. Same with Chandler Harnish or Jordan White.

Just for the sake of statistics....

The MAC went 1-1 vrs ACC, 1-8 vrs the BEAST, 0-4 against the B12, 1-11 against the BIG, 0-3 against the SEC for a total of 3-24 against the AQ's

We went ...

1-0 against the CUSA
2-2 against the MWC
3-0 against the WAC
4-0 against IND (thank you army)
1-2 against the SB

I feel like whoever was giving Page advice wasn't very smart. Saying 3rd-4th round? It's the 7th round and he is still available.

Yea, that sounds like very bad advice. And the WR crop is supposed to be strong this year too. MAC players seem to usually go lower than they are projected. If projected in the late rounds they don't get drafted at all.

For the MAC it was. No losses verses FCS teams, and some competitive games against FBS (including a hose job). That's decent. *shrug*

Brazill gets drafted before Page?? He's only 5'11" so it's not like size was much of a difference there. Page produced much better numbers in his 3 years playing compared to Brazill's 5 years playing.

How does this happen?
