The MAC should be releasing the schedule in the next 10-21 days. What is your guess as to the number of week day/night game that we will play in the 2012 regular season?

I vote for whatever the total was last year, its the same contract and NIU will still be anywhere from Top 1 to Top 3 in the conference.

3, 4 if you include the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Hence, NIU will play ALL six home games at nite during the week to please the tvgods and macmovers 'n' shakers.

As in the past ever since the ESPN "deal" was signed, I expect all of our November games (home and away) to be during the week.

That's not true.

In 2009 we played @ Ohio on a Saturday in November.
In 2010 we played @ Ball St on a Saturday in November.

Last year was the first time since joining the MAC that we played all weekday/night games in November. However this was also the first time ever that all of our November games were on TV.

Toledo game is a lock. My other guesses are at Western and home versus BG.

vs Toledo - Tuesday (night) November 6th
@ Ball St - Wednesday (night) Nov 14th
@ EMU - Wednesday (day) Nov 21st

The MAC would be crazy to put a weeknight game at EMU on TV. It'll be worse than BG last year. Typically, we play Western in October, but for some reason, I have a feeling we'll play a November weeknight game there this year.

I wouldn't expect the EMU game on TV this year unless we were the highest ranked team in the MAC at that time. This is also why I think the game would be in the day.
