who is our top recruit?
Miller, cotton, taylor?

Miller sounds like the best athlete we have signed in a long time. He gets my vote

I disagree. I don't think LB was a need for us. With Butler, Clark, Bass, Stingley, Porter, Jacques, and Hellams.

Our 3 starters at linebacker are rock solid. Bass improved a lot towards the end of the season and he'll only be a redshirt sophomore. Buter and Clark will be redshirt juniors.

RE: who is our top recruit?
watched some video of LB Cotton and QB Hare - liked what I saw. P. Ford looks like an all around athlete - would really like to see him work out at RB postion, he's got size

Hellams is gone. And Clark will be a senior, FYI.

RE: who is our top recruit?
I like the emphasis on the offensive and defensive lines. Seems like they got some good size and now it is up to the recruits to hit the weight room and turn themselves into outstanding D1 players.

It seems like a good class to me but I am not knowlegable enough to know for sure. I also liked the video that I saw on Hare and I liked what his HS coach had to say about him.

Best athlete? You do know we signed a 225 LB pound man that runs a 10.5 100 meters?

RE: who is our top recruit?
Just by pure rankings I would say cotton...

But upside I would say Miller since he was only played 1 year of football.

Jury is still out on wether he is a football player. Great combine numbers but productivity does not match ability.

Klake , I was referring to best ATHLETE, not fb player.

IMO, we have a 2 or 3 NFLer's in here. Look hard at those DLineman. Thats where money is in this years class.

RE: who is our top recruit?
DD expects 5-7 of these kids to see the field in 2012...Cotton might end up being our situational pass rusher this year at outside LB...he could be a good one...
