RE: Massey computer compilation rankings
I noticed a familiar name at #25. It's just a pity poll voters don't know the name...

Because whether you guys want to admit it or not it's football that is driving the money bus.

The thread was about football until TM brought up the basketball link. There is no doubt the BE will be weaker in basketball after the moves but is football that drives the money bus. If not the BE would have had the biggest tv contract

Note that the Big East is 5th in the conference standings, ahead of the ACC.

And despite the recent upheaval, the ACC will remain below the Big East: 4 of the known incoming members are ranked higher than Pitt, and all 5 are ranked higher than Syracuse.
I can't speak for other fan bases, but Louisville fans feel confident that, with out second straight Top 25 recruiting class and one of the youngest teams in FBS, we'll be bringing up the conference average once again in 2012-13 and beyond.

You guys have clearly done a better job of recruiting than has USF. We are smack-dab in the middle of the most fertile recruiting area in the country and yet fail to attract top talent.

I wasn’t aware of these rankings, thanks. Nice to see on the prospects list Temple ranked #46 in basketball, #47 in football. Weather included in the next BE expansion or not it’s more evidence that the football program is moving in the right direction.
