Believe me, I have no doubt that you'll be able to spout your stupidity on here for a long time and play your "what me, what did I do" act out. The mods won't move your threads until they get ridiculous, but pretty much all of your threads will most likely end up in the smack folder.

Obviously you have been gone for awhile based on your post at 12:24 yesterday stating you were "back" so let me bring you up to date on what I have recently posted so you may better evaluate whether I know what I am talking about.

One post the other day provided a direct link to a direct quote made by your system president Randy Moffett in his welcome speech to UNO in their joining the University of Louisiana System. He welcomed them into what is now a nine university system of REGIONAL RESEARCH universities and listed them by name including University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I was ripped back and forth but I am not the one who said it, it was your president.

The next event involved the mandatory budget cut to higher education. The state administration had advised the higher education budget was to be cut by about $50mil, the Board of Regents calculated how much each university would need to cut (ULL was cut by over $3mil) and each school was directed to report to the BOR exactly what they were cutting by last Thursday. The ULL administration submitted the details of their cuts which included $1mil specifically directed at athletics. I posted a link to that and your remedial reading class interpreted it in every imaginable way and went ballistic.

Both of the above posts were regarding factual information. Another topic, however, was my opinion and it involved what I thought about the ESPN slaughter of the ULL name during the telecast of your bowl game. It was my opinion, specifically stated, that they had been harassed by your school on the name thing and was deliberately screwing it up. If you look at other posts you will find many who agree with me.

So, two posts based on facts and one regarding an opinion with which many agreed. Seems you need to enroll more of your pals not only in a remedial reading class but also as to factual information pertaining to your school, an example being a statement that your school is basically mandated to direct a certain amount to athletics which is absolutely absurd.

Seems everyone has a keen interest in official news with individual opinions.
