According to Jerry Sandusky's lawyer,
quoted on the news this morning, Sandusky, his wife, and his children are all devastated by the charges against him.

Is that OK?

...and the rest of the nation remains devistates, horrified, and shocked that someone in such a position of trust was allowed to abuse that trust for so long when others had knowledge...

I feel sorry for his family. I wouldn't shed a tear if he gets the business end of a shiv.

I'm sure bubba and him will share many terrifying, yet loving years together in a state institution.

He won't make it past the first year.

RE: According to Jerry Sandusky's lawyer,
What is his wife's reaction to the accusation that a child yelled for help while in his basement knowing she was upstairs?

Too bad she doesn't have a high paying high profile job to be taken from her.

RE: According to Jerry Sandusky's lawyer,
If he is mixed in with the general prison-population, then yes he will get killed in short order.

I don't know how Pennsylvania Dept. of Corrections runs their shop, but just offhand I have a hunch that Sandusky will be put in an environment where he will not actually be killed by other prisoners. But that is just my pure guess. There's no telling where this will go -- "this" referring not just to Sandusky's physical safety but the other people who knew or should have known or could have known, etc.

It is realistic to think she probably didn't hear. If you're on different floors of my house and yell, you can easily go unnoticed (at least when the baby monitors aren't on).

good point but to be fair, Dahmer wasn't in GP either... and he got waxed by another inmate. Only takes a quick second, some opportunity, and a guard not paying attention while moving prisoners around.

I seriously doubt that her husband could molest children for 15 years, sometimes in their home, and she knew nothing about it. So maybe she didn't hear it that time, but I doubt that she was ignorant to it.
