A little over 13000. Don't remember the exact number.

It was funny to see mostly GA on the east side and haven them stay for the whole game. 05-stirthepot

One of the few games I missed this year. (Hey, I'll be in Detroit!)

Kudos to the 13K+. It was great to see the West Side fuller than it's been for many games.

I think DD helped by his plea to fans to come out, as noted in this thread.

ESPNU had a brief Post Game interview with him and he noted and thanked the Huskie fans that came out today.

Why didn't Doeren plead to ESPN to start this game at a reasonable hour. There would have been thousands more in attendance. It was nice though that he thanked those for coming out.

That explains why most the east side was sitting on third downs. :)

In standing on the east side yesterday We talked with someone who was in front of us (sitting) and they said that the faculty got free tickets. I give them credit unlike the students who usually leave at half, they stayed the whole game and were generally loud when they needed to be.

I always felt that EVERY employee especially the faculty of the university should be offered free tickets to all or several key athletic events.

If more of the faculty is excited about an athletic team the more likely they will talk about it in class and try to get their students to attend.

It seemed loud on 3rd downs for only 13,000. I hope the seniors were OK with the send-off. I'm sure they understand it was a crazy day-time to get people out. it will be interesting to see how everything shakes down at the end of our current ESPN contract.
