He had a good gameplan to negate our pass rush, although it seemed like he only ran 4 different plays (QB keeper, pass in the flat, RB up the middle and the 10 yard slant). Granted, it worked on us, but its not like their playbook looked very deep at all. With that said, I thought Berry had a huge part in the failure at the end of the game. There was no reason for him to call time outs on our 2pt conversion, OR on the onside kick. If they even had 1 more TO, the game could have ended much differently. In the end though, I'm gonna relish this comeback for a looooooooong time.

ULM NO. 52 should have been flagged for his awful late hit on Gautier well after the whistle. So, I guess that's why he never drew a holding call on the Cajun OLine.

No doubt about it, they were ready to play and UL didn't come out with that emotion. That being said, with all the smack between the two porgrams on this board they hit a new low accussing Hudspeth of spousal abuse!

Take a powder boys, your pilot light is damned near out. Figure out how you guys can pay your athletes each 2K per year, then call me.

I thought it was a nice touch when someone lowered your school flag to half mast, right before half... We thought that was kinda cute.

Question; which Scout board was calling the opposition coach a wife beater last week? This was nothing but a malicious rumor but there it is on the ULM scout forum. Please clean your own house up before trying to play the victim (again.) It should be noted also that it is not smack to debate what current members bring to the table on this forum. Monroe may take it that way because they bring so little to the table. If you check, it is not only Cajun fans saying this.

I hate smack, but if I want to read the most smack, I can go to your forum and get my fill of it quickly.

Bottom line is that there are fans of ULL who constantly harp about the name and want to be called a certain thing...then they say "well just call us Cajuns" but then want to start threads just to stir up crap. They say they don't worry about us and that ULM doesn't concern them yet they hop in any thread about ULM and start talking sh*t. The sad thing about it is that the vast majority of the people who post on this board are probably middle aged but sure as hell don't act like adults.

Now everyone can say "oh, this is a sports board and this is where we talk smack." Maybe I am a bit old school. Maybe I wasn't raised that way. Perhaps I am just not cut out for all the internet tough guys. I just find it sad that certain posters (and they/you know who they are) cannot say "good game" or "wow, what a finish" but have to resort to insults about the fans or the school.

I generally come to this board to talk sports....to find out about what is going on at other schools....to get other folks' perspectives and opinions. The vast majority of the people on this board I have a lot of respect for even if I have never met them. A couple of folks want to be jerks at just about every turn. It is boring and tedious and I know there are other folks out there who are sick and tired of it as well.

John, you got your facts completely backwards. First of all UL and Louisiana is our name. We have the OK from the UL Board of Regents in which UL Monroe is part of. Dr. Bruno know this. Yet there are JUCO fans who continue to call the Sun Belt office everytime we use Lousiana. Even one of the sports writers called your guys out about writing so many emails about the name.

On your scout board, JUCO fans constantly say UL is breaking the law, as well as telling everyone that Coach Hud is a wife beater.

If we are breaking the law, get your dam lawyer and lets get it on. I know one thing is that Dr. Bruno will not support this because he knows.

Your school need to quit worrying about UL and worry about raising money to survive in division 1-A.

people don't like having thread after thread derailed because two fanbases have to argue over name issues at every oportunity. it's become a problem.
