RE: UCF in anticipation of the move to the East
UCF fans, question. No disrespect intended at all. Has there or will there be any talk of making your seats chairbacks like FAU's new stadium. They basically have a mini version of your stadium, but to be honest, theirs looks nicer due to the blue chairbacks. Really makes it look sharp and stand out. If you guys added a bunch of gold chairs backs like FAU's seats, instead of the silver bleachers, your stadium would look really sharp.

I guess it would for Big East standards.

The same Big East you've applied to 27 times?

Jeez. For the 100th time ECU hasn't applied to BE that many times. That would be applying more than 1 time per year. That was a play on words by the writer. nevermind.

ECU's stadium hold a little over 50K, average attendance is 49.5 ... plus another 10K folks who stay in the parking lots and watch games on TV or just party on ... additionally, they draw the second largest market in NC.

Hope UCF can add twenty thousand or so more seats ... will look better in the BE.

I have not heard...there are rumblings that we are going to expand the luxury suites..(I suppose this is if we officially join the Big East). Our stadium definitiely needs to get "dressed up" a little if we join the Big East.

It's definitely been talked about. But right now, we're pretty cash strapped. We've committed and spent every penny we have into building the stadium/arena/Athletic Village.

One BCS paycheck will go a long way for us...

I guess with all the UCF hating everyone should just forget the season UCF had last year.

The crowd did seem loud from my tv. However, I wouldn't give them credit for the shaky camera as that is a product of the tin can stadium. I feel that they had a good crowd for a UCF Thursday night game.

Ihave to admit I'm not sure what that is about, but it is sure a nice change of pace from what is being posted recently around the threads.

It's a play on 'cool story, bro'... And it's great!

Understand and thanks.
I was a little disappointed in the crowd but figured being a Thursday night game didn't help. With time, it should get better. But the game was good throughout, and that is all that counts to me.

You know, Southern Miss expanded their stadium from 33,000 to 36,000 in 2008.

Except I can't figure out why. Southern Miss has drawn more than 33K to the Rock exactly ONCE since the expansion.

Its hard for our fans to get excited playing CUSA schools....when Boise, Texas AM and Nebraska come to town we have alot better crowds.......

I had a blind squirrel in my yard a few winters ago.... every now and then I would see him eating an acorn, then one snowy day I found the squirrel dead, thin as could be, ribs practically poking through the skin....you see what Im getting at right?

Sure. I guess by your logic we should not be talking about So Miss or ECU at all since:

a) Marshall beat So Miss
b) ECU lost 56-3 this year to Houston

there's about 800 seatbacks below the press box...I'm sure in the next few years maybe they'll add more on the press box side and maybe the east side...nothing concrete but with a bigger conference paycheck probably on the way I could see it happening. No need for seatbacks in the student section or other endzone

That USM hasn't won the east division nor CUSA since UCF joined?
