Why can't ECU just let the Big East decide if they want you. Why must you plead to get in? Obviously it didn't work in the past, and it probably won't work now. All it does is damage CUSA and the remaining members.

I'll tell you what the problem is, is posters like UCFL, who love to keep the pot stirred. He reminds me of Maize and L-Yes from Louisville who were infamous for their stirring up trouble and constantly posting items in here about them moving to the Big East. That Alone tickles me pink that The Big 12 took WV rather than them.

How curious is it that this gets posted in a NC election year NOW of all times.

You are such a freaking tool...Why do you even care??? It is not like you guys are going to be around anyway. Like I said before, if you guys did not have the Florida address and the Orlando TV market you would be in the same boat as ECU and some other schools. I would imagine if that were the case you guys would be doing the same thing...Again, like I said before, it is not like we are the only school doing this. Both Temple and Memphis have done the same thring...The reason being is it appears another spot has opened up with WVU leaving. If the rumors are true all 3 of these schools could be candidates for this additional spot, so they are doing everything they can to get included. So until UCF is in the same spot as these 3 schools I would not criticize what they are doing to try and make things happen.

Yeah, we scheduled ourselves out of points in 2008 and 2009. If we would have played the type of OOC schedules you guys do then we would have BCS points for both of those seasons....But oh well, that is our fault for scheduling so difficult.

We've been looking into the BE since 2003!
--They sure didn't do any political pressure in our favor back then during the last upheaval.

And our app to the BE was a month ago....
--the story comes out NOW with the leaked letter to prove they are doing something to shore up votes from Eastern North Carolina in the upcoming elections..

For what its worth, Southern Miss deserves the Big East way more than ECU. You both are in small markets, but Southern Miss has put a much better quality program on the field year in and year out.

And for whats its worth, UCF has NEVER had its senators make a public statement like this. The weekly ramblings of TH are even more painful to read as a CUSA member.

The difference is Louisville had actually accomplished plenty of things in their history. I had no problem with them and the way they left. UCF on the other hand hasn't beat a BCS team with a winning record in their entire history and are like 3-60 vs the BCS but yet felt entitled to have BCS status a decade ago. If you can find a bigger underachiever in football with the advantages they have had I would love to see them.

Most of their posters like this guy are just kids I suspect and have no perspective on the real world at this point and life is basically about where you come from, who you know, and timing, and hard work and talent will only get you so far. The fact ECU was even in the discussions says alot about what we've built ourself into and without the advantages. This process was really no different than anything else in life and I think one day soon this guy will relize that and the things he is trying to rub in our face are pretty hollow with out the hard work to back it up.
