He is a Business major, and he liked the program at NIU. Maybe we still have a chance...

The current 2012 Tulane recruiting class is sad compared to ours.

I am not trying to "pump" him nor have I ever seen him play. Just saying his production right now is impressive and he appears to be under the radar since he was banged up his sophmore and junior years.

seen this kid play live a few times and he is the REAL DEAL. id love to have him, hes a prototypical Joe Novak recruit. Under the radar for whatever reason that ends up at NIU and has a huge career. I hope we can pull this one off. Kind of reminds me of Chad Spann's and G Wolfe's story a bit

Don't know if the coaching staff reads this thread but if you do here you go for an idea.

RE: 2012 Recruiting Thread
Here are some JUCO's our coaches should consider:

LB Vince Coach, College of Dupage - Had offers from Cincinnati and Louisville out of high school.
http://www.hudl.com/athlete/42213/vince-coach

OL John Thibideau, College of Dupage - This guy was a big time recruit out of Homewood-Flossmoor, guessing he was a grade casualty.
http://www.nwitimes.com/sports/high-scho...8b524.html
http://rivals.yahoo.com/florida/football...deau-88839

LB Darius Moffett, Harper College - Has a lot of talent and was recruited heavily out of Hubbard High in Chicago but had grade problems and only lasted one year at Eastern Michigan. Would depend on his academic progress.
http://miamiohio.scout.com/a.z?s=348&p=8...id=3429689

RB Courtney "The Matrix" Molton, Joliet JC - Was rumored to be coming here from East St. Louis, is now putting up pretty good numbers at Joliet.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYQ-LL7B2us

DT Jeffrey Brown, Joliet JC - Seemingly out of nowhere was recruited by Miami, Fla out of Evanston High a year ago. Had legal trouble at Miami, now putting up big numbers for Joliet.

FYI, you can find JUCO stats and rosters at NJCAA.org

I would pass on Thibideau & Moffett. Don't know anything about Coach. Molton? If the staff knows him and he is their guy then yes. Brown? I forgot his troubles would look hard into that and see what his story is.

Ya not sure. Though 6'7 is a lot bigger than 6'4. There is no reason that Peat kid will visit here let alone play here. He has us listed as LOW interest.

There are 0 Texas recruits that are being looked at by NIU according to rivals.

That's what happens when you get your info from a football player on Twitter!

Speaking of JUCO's to hone in on, based on the Huskies inability to defend the pass this year DB Josh Pettus of COD would be a great fit

#5 JUCO ranked DB in the nation

Would rather land this jc recruit that has been offered. Huskies are going to need talent that can start right away next year and that should be a powerful attraction. JC players don't have time to waste sitting on the bench plus the fact that NIU is nationally known for running the ball which is another big attraction for Olineman as most like to grind it out

RE: 2012 Recruiting Thread
The fewer Jucos the better. The best way to build a program is from the bottom up with red shirt freshman. A few Jucos are OK to fill in for dire needs and to fill slots that have been vacated by kids that got injured or washed out of the program. However, the best teams are filled with guys that come in together and come up through the program together that stik together like brothers.
