Any chance of some game day media coverage for EMU? I don't see anything yet from annarbor.com, but as expected there is a Michigan vs. WMU "Mega Guide". 03-puke03-weeping03-banghead01-lauramac2

RE: Gameday
Wow! I did not know that Western had such a big following on the east side of the state and that our opening game with Michigan would get so much press. We get write ups in the Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and Grand Rapids papers all the time, but to have the Ann Arbor press get all wooshy over us......well all I can say is that now I feel special. 03-melodramatic

I'm going to say no, because 15 plus years of futility and zero attendance at home games isn't going to get you anything.

It runs much deeper than that. CMU has had some success the last few years yet the Detroit papers don't even acknowledge that CMU played on Thursday.

If CMU continues to play like they did on Thursday, I won't acknowledge them either.

Is CMU in the greater Detroit area?

No, but CMU has over 300,000 graduates in the greater Detroit area. Enough to NOT purchase the Detroit News and/or Free Press.

That explains the estimated 300,000 people in the Detroit area that are unemployed! 05-stirthepot

touche.

Joke Scoreboard thus far this year: WMU 1 CMU
Real Scoreboard past five years: CMU 5 WMU 0

P.S.- Should the Broncos prevail this afternoon in A-squared, their could be several more hit the unemployment line in the Detroit metro, but they won't be Chippewas!

It wasn't heavy contact, but I believe Michigan just got away with PI in the endzone.

And "BOOM GOES The DYNAMITE" at the Big A-Hole! (Least we forget, scUM defense was 110 out of 120 schools last year)

And you can count on all of them being in Kalamacrapity for your annual pounding.
