RE: OT: Falling Skies on TNT
Well the position is finally explained. Skitters only want the kids. Arent really interested in the others, as long as they arent a threat

that explains why they've paid so little attention to the 2nd mass all series

Tells Mike in no uncertain terms...you either go alo0ng with this, or we sell your son

As am I. So the theory that we've been formulating about the skitters having to answer to a superior force seems to be coming together.

Mike sacrifices his life for his son. Thus showing he is the total opposite of that group

I loved Tessas line to explain things. "I was going to talk to them about you, so you could stay with us"

They remind me somewhat of the Borq from Star Trek. (Not that im a Trek nerd in any way) They dont really care about killing, as long as you dont bother them. If you just let them come in and take what you want, they'll leave you in peace

in World War 1, British and German troops would trade rations rather than gunfire as long as the other did the same.

They also celebrated Christmas together in some small skirmish sites.

World War 1 was a very strange war. There were alot of moments of "Why exactly are we fighting again" if you read about it

WWI was the most moronic war in modern history. the technology has progressed to the point that all known tactics were made obsolete. I completely understand the mentality of the fighting men on both sides. it was a meat grinder and everyone just wanted to go home.

Poor Pope. He does the human thing and helps save the kids, and his reward is some time in the infirmary with Margret as his bedside nurse

next week looks like we're going to learn alot about the Skitters.

Rick with a really scary line about how "Humans kill their own, and we would never do that"

RE: OT: Falling Skies on TNT
Early thoughts:

Skitter Mystery- Very little shown to solve the mystery of the skitters this episode as it focused more on human nature, and the moral dilemna of, would you sacrifice others to save your own family/ we get 2 lines about the skitters, one with our episode villan discussing how the skitters left them alone once they got the kids. And Rick's line about how its not in Skitter nature to kill each other

I still tend to follow the theory of the skitters are being forced to invade and not by choice. it almost seems like they are jealous a bit of human physiology. The Ability to walk on 2 legs. And we see that they have used kids as slave labor to help them with tasks that they seem unable to do on theor own.

I cant tell if another alien is forcing the skitters to do this, or if there is something earth has that the skitters must have to survive, But its clear they didnt just happen to choose to invade Earth.

My question is, what is the big secret we find out next.

So why is Rick still part Skitter and Ben apparently is not?
