RE: OT: Falling Skies on TNT
I'm enjoying Falling Skies and I'm not usually a Scifi fan, especially on episodic television.

This summer I'm keeping my DVR very busy...

True Blood
Falling Skies
Entourage(next month)
Weeds
Franklin and Bash
Royal Pains
Necessary Roughness(thought the pilot was okay we'll see on this one...)
Wilfred
Breaking Bad

one of the greatest tv shows ever made. Joss Whedon (sp?) also made a likker tv series called dollhouse, also for only two seasons.

I heard Nathan Fillion (Captain Reynolds) bought the rights to the Firefly series and is wanting to bring it back.

In the first episode the science teacher passed along an observation by a student that the alien robots are bipedal, unlike the aliens themselves, which is strange since you would expect they would resemble their creators. I think this indicates that the Skitters themselves are slaves and are given orders by other aliens that more closely resemble humans. That would explain why they were not allowed to have weapons themselves but still be allowed to interact with the robots, etc.

The mystery is still pretty thick and I like where your head is at here. Seems very plausible that this could be the case. Spielburg is a master of Sci Fi so I'm eagerly anticipating each new episode to learn more.

When will TNT ever get around to putting episodes online is the question of the day. I missed Sundays episode, and it still has not appeared on the Website. Generally most shows put them up the next day.

Great show. I want to see more and more of it. If you like it, you should also like "Walking Dead".

The BSG blonde has been on "Burn Notice" and the gal on the right is on "Hawaii Five-0." Starbuck has turned up here and then as well.

Speaking of The Walking Dead, major parts of the first season were filmed on and near the campus of GSU. Also many students working on the production.

I work in Vinings, about two minutes from the Cobb Energy Center, which was used as the CDC in the show.

I think they closed a highway out on the east side (Conyers? Covington) last week to do some filming. Very cool. The new Teen Wolf series is also being filmed here. I remember them looking for student extras at one of our basketball games this winter.

I'm pretty sure Covington is where they film Vampire Diaries.

RE: OT: Falling Skies on TNT
I live intown and when you drive around every couple of days you see one of those cryptographic signs on a telephone pole that indicate to the production crew which way to go to reach the production. My wife works in midtown and a couple times a month I get an email or text that some famous actor is filming at the Georgian Terrace Hotel. It's definitely where you want to be in the South if you are trying to get into TV or Film.
