This gives them two former National Coach of the Year coaches with June Jones for football. Doherty hasn't done much with basketball there but I wonder if he was. Do they still have that great soccer coach?

Edit: Their bball coach Doherty was also NCOTY in 2001 while coaching at UNC. Bust of a hire but they are at least trying to get good coaches over in Dallas these days.

I disagree. It's also a big deal in Ohio. It's a sport of the masses rather than just the elites around here, because there's so many public courses that anyone can play. Disclaimer: I hate golf, so this is not a biased opinion.

The mods have made it possible for fans of teams (that feel they are BE candidates) to post anything they want that is specific to their team....for example, just do it under the ALL Things SMU" thread. It doesn't seem many fans are really abiding by this...
