Ohio State's problems are beginning to sound a lot like SMU from the 1980s.

UCF's amusing chump change as far as I'm concerned. I'd smirk at their getting hit by the NCAA. I'd gut laugh for a month straight however, WHEN Ohio State takes the fall. If ever there was program so over rated and deserving of being smacked back down to reality, it's Ohio State.

Ohio State is one of those programs that sees themselves as untouchable. It will be good to see them get smacked the mouth. It may take a little bit of their cockyness away, referring to themselves as THE Ohio State is really annoying.

Florida has the 5th highest hispanic population as a percentage of their overall population (22% per the census) but the majority of them are cubans/Puerto Ricans and not Mexican, so the pejorative terms "wetback" or "beaner" don't apply. Don't worry though, "spic" is still racially relevant and offensive enough on it's own though, so good work!

And your post pretty much proved his point, as you responded the way any ignorant backwoods hillbilly would! Keep it up CJ!

Thanks for correcting me. After calling everyone that lives in Kentucky a hillbilly, I'm sure you're an accomplished racist and know how to do it correctly.
CJ

BTW....

Enjoy your 1 Liberty Bowl Championship....

UofL has 3 of them.

Actually, it was AWESOME...as what better place to celebrate your program's first bowl win over the Georgia Bulldogs from the SEC than Beale Street on New Year's Eve!!!

PS. I'd certainly hope UL had more Liberty Bowl wins that UCF, especially since Louisville's football program is over 100 years old while UCF moved up to Div I-A status in 1996...as that's the cool thing about be a young program...as our generation of UCF fans have been able to see/witness: First program win ever, First Div II win, First Div I-AA win, First Div I-A, First Division Title, First Conf Championship Game appearance, First Bowl Game appearance, , First Conf Championship, First time being ranked in Top 20...and now First Bowl win...as most programs are so old, that most of their fans today haven't been around for many of their "firsts".

I've said this before, if UCF thinks that Louisville, Depaul, Rick Pitino and Syracuse as well as the New York Times are out to get them, and that USF is blocking them, then what makes them think they're going to get into the Big East? You better hope at least the first part of this isn't true.

UCF is going to get hit and hit hard. NCAA will take their time and we probably won't know the results till next year. Best case scenario for UCF right now as far as expansion goes is for the Big East to stay at 9.

UCF tried to rush into big time basketball but shot itself in the foot

Because we've accomplished so much in a short amount of time...or your contempt for a UCF fan who takes prides in accomplishments you deem unworthy of Big East membership?

I can't tell. Enlighten us.

UCF has not served their time yet. There are others ahead of them in line. Houston, ECU, Memphis and SMU all deserve the opportunity to play in a BCS Conference before a program that has only been playing FBS football since 1996.

Less than 20 years ago your program was playing basketball in The Atlantic Sun. What would it accomplish adding UCF basketball to The Big East.

Well...for one...even without Big East recruiting advantage...UCF has beaten USF, who has enjoyed all the advantages of Big East recruiting since Nov 2003...twice out of the last 3 seasons.

Odds are...after a few years WITH Big East recruiting...UCF would do pretty well, maybe even very good in regards to Big East Hoops.

Will be fun to watch and see what happens!

PS. Last year in Donnie Jones first year at UCF, UCF beat SEC Regular Season Champ UF, Miami from the ACC, and USF from the Big East.

Not a bad start...next few years should be fun!

I agree, but Hillbilly isn't a racially pejorative term, unlike the ones he spewed about Floridians of South/Central american decent. I don't take kindly to it, seeing as how my niece and nephew both have the last name Rodriguez and their father moved to this country in Middle School from El Salvador. When some ignorant keyboard masher decides to prove to the world how ignorant and idiotic he is, I feel the need to point it out in spades. Can you blame me?

Quote:Thanks for correcting me. After calling everyone that lives in Kentucky a hillbilly, I'm sure you're an accomplished racist and know how to do it correctly.

Since you missed it the first time, Hillbilly isn't a racist term, it's a derogatory term aimed primarily at those whom live in the Appalachian or Ozark Mountain ranges.

If you want to get specific, racial epitaths are derogatory terms. Although they're aimed at persons of a different race, instead of those who live in the Appalachian or Ozark Mtns. I see little difference between your example and theirs, except the fact that theirs was meant in jest. Your's wasn't...
