Olbermann is so obsessed with Fox that he named his website after them? That just reeks of an inferiority complex. Don't be so jealous and bitter about how you could never touch them in the ratings, Keith.

Little Keith is a failure at everything he does. Was awful on ESPN. Tried political talk show. Had an audience of dozens of like minded loons.

He must really be desperate now. But at least he can now afford to buy the big rolls of tinfoil.

He had close to 1 million viewers every night which is slightly more than a few dozen.

The show made money for MSNBC...and really made it a viable network which has now pretty much surpassed CNN.

FOK stands for "Friends of Keith".

I've never heard before that Olbermann was "awful on ESPN".
The way I remember it, KO + Dan Patrick formed a very lucrative and influential team for that network.

Olbermann was "awful" at ESPN in the sense that everybody in the building hated him. I really felt sorry for him when he was dumped rather unceremoniously, and said so to an ESPN employee at some event that we worked together not long afterward. "Don't be," I was told, "he was a first class a-hole and nobody was sorry to see him go." Several others quickly chimed in agreement. Since then, I think I've been able to see what they were talking about. He plays a pretty convincing jerk--mainly because that's what he is, so it comes naturally.

I'm completely ready, willing, and able to believe the man is a prick.

But -- comparing to the days when Clinton's defenders emphasized his "job performance" -- it remains true that KO helped (along with Dan Patrick) make SportsCenter a very big deal. I don't remember ESPN complaining about that, then or now.

No doubt. Then he'll have another excuse to bash Fox News.

So...I'm wondering who is really obsessed with fox here...LOL. The point of the thread was that a committed liberal is criticizing Obama which the majority of you claim never happens.

But please...keep ignoring that fact. I'm sure it doesn't sit well with your narrative.

When has anyone made that claim?
Much less a "majority."

Yeah, I'd like to see where that claim was made. I know most of us believe you to be total shill for The One, but I have heard many liberals criticize Obama, mainly because he's not socialist enough.

Good for Keith. He stood on principle.

Happy now?

I know, right?

Olbyloon is a grade A douchebag of the first order who is as irrelevant now as he was when on BSNBC. He's not an opinion maker, he doesn't move the needle of political debate, he never did. He ranted and raved, pushed hyperbolic commentary to a level not easily imagined in days prior, all for the impact of giving a stiffy to people like SimpleTom who think such things qualify as high minded discourse.

Who gives a crap what he says? He's nothing.
