Softball Top 25
Here is the top 25 as ranked by ESPN/Softball USA. The USA Today poll will be released later today.

1. Florida 14-0 (11)
2. Alabama 20-1 (8)
3. Georgia 17-1 (1)
4. Arizona 19-2
5. Michigan 22-0
6. Washington 16-0

13. Texas 16-3
T14. Missouri 11-3
T14. Oregon 17-4
16. Louisiana-Lafayette 18-2
17. Hawaii 15-4
18. Oklahoma State 15-5
19. Texas Tech 22-0
20. Nebraska 14-2
21. LSU 15-5
22. Baylor 19-2
23. Kentucky 14-3
24. Texas A&M 14-6
25. Houston 16-4

Dropped Out: Auburn
New to Poll: Baylor

Others receiving votes: Auburn (30), Syracuse (28), Alabama-Birmingham (24), Notre Dame (9), Ohio State (7), Fresno State (5), DePaul (4), Long Beach State (3), SC Upstate (3)

It's a shame that the USA ladies did not receive one vote. They are 18-3 overall. But UAB is ranked #28? They are 12-7 and USA beat them head to head! Ohio State #30? They are 5-14 and USA beat them head to head! This is crazy.

RE: Softball Top 25
All we have to do as a conference is keep winning and the votes will come. They can't continue to ignore us if we keep beating the the teams we're supposed to and beat the teams we shouldn't like Bama, UGA, OSU, etc. Keep the wins coming and show them we won't be ignored.

Louisiana softball had their hiccup with that bad loss to Southern.. I will be surprised if The Lotiefs let that happen again.

Louisiana softball had their hiccup with that bad loss to Southern.. I will be surprised if The Lotiefs let that happen again.

ULL should wiin, but UNT ain't a gimme.05-nono

Didn't say it would be, but Louisiana is the best team you've played so far..

Hmmm. Oklahoma, Oklahom State, Oregon and Nebraska are all ranked and not shabby teams.

And which of these games did you win? close only counts.............

Yes I do!

Including the Cajuns, the conference has losses to Kentucky, Oregon, Auburn, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St and Nebraska. We need to win a few more of those games and we will get votes.
