The guy was undoubtedly breaking the law, and in effect stealing, so he should get what he deserves. My problem is that this is what Homeland Security is spending its time, and our money, on. This is something that should be handled civilly; with the NFL, NHL, MLB, and other violatees, suing the guy in civil court. Homeland security should be looking for explosives.

They got a tip that this guy had WMD in his basement. It was rather serendipitous.

No, that privilege is reserved for poor Afghans. In about 10 years SWAT teams will use it to blow up homes here in the US.
