RE: The reaction to the US goal
very good video...im sad that I didnt get a chance to do what those people did...stuck at work and had to listen to a sports jockey on the radio indifferently say that the US scored a goal in the 91st minute...

I watched the it on my DVR the second I got home...i knew it was going to happen and when and I still got chills...

In 4 years I will def do all that I can to be stuck in a crowded bar with a ton of ppl watching the World Cup!

the same guy has been filmed by his kid while he was watching an arkansas game...i believe it was against florida where they lost by less than a field goal...if you search for it on youtube its pretty funny...

titled something along the lines of 'dad watching arkansas/the hogs'

RE: The reaction to the US goal
I love college sports. They can bring a city, or a state together in joy or in sadness. The same with pro sports, for the die hards, a city can really be brought together. But this, this video, it's proof of how an entire nation can be brought together. Strangers from coast to coast experiencing the same unabashed joy...it's beautiful. I don't know what Wolken or Parrish or whoever said what, but have him or them watch this video. They will get an idea of what this beautiful game can do to a nation.
