Hopefully they can fire him and use that money towards Eddie Jordan instead. I really want Eddie Jordan here as I really believe him to be the guy to bring Rutgers to where they should have been going ever since he and Phil Sellers led us to the 1976 Final Four and a 31-2 record. What's funny about Eddie Jordan is that he looks almost exactly the same sans for that afro he used to sport way back when. In the mid to late 70s we were on the verge of developing an elite program and had we taken that charter membership spot in the Big East I think we would have done so.

There are times when I'm infuriated at RutgersAl because he makes the Rutgers fanbase look stupid and then there are times where its just so over the top I can't help but laugh hysterically. On the other hand there are guys who are more arrogant and abrasive in their RU fandom who always embarass us.

I'm pretty sure its the latter he's been around for an awfully long time it seems like to me.

I invited RutgersAl to my tailgate last fall when RU played Cuse. He is a nice guy in his early/mid 30s. He scored some points with me when he showed up after the game for the post game tailgate. Al was a cordial losing fan.

I know you were joking, but in no way did I insinuate WVU by my comment. One would think so being that we are long-time rivals, but the WVU fans I've encountered on this board seem to be genuinely nice guys.

However, I won't say that on the Rivals board systems. Pitt-WVU comments on those boards can get real ugly real fast. I don't post much on Scout system, but I read there occasionally and that system seems to be even worse.

Most posts on the rivals board are made with considerable alchoholic content. Those are supposed to be college level intellects. But I see little sign of it. Too much booze has to be the reason - otherwise our society is in deep sh!t...

Rutgers fans were really good sports last year. A few of them even came out with us in Armory Square that night. Of course, they insisted on sporting their RU regalia, but to each his own...
