RE: St Johns/Memphis...NIT
Memphis is a very good team, strong, athletic, talented and fearless. But one thing I noticed about St. John's is that they're relaxed, confident, and executing their plays. The crowd isn't bothering them at all. That's the advantage of playing in the Big East.

Memphis can't miss from outside, and they're killing St. John's from long range. Will the Tigers continue to shoot like that in the 2nd half?

I think your question has been answered so far, St. John's is back in the game.

This has been one hell of a game. Can you send it into overtime?

Tied at 71, 9.9 seconds left...

The Tigers aren't real good this year. Neither are the Redmen. I expect the Tigers to be back in the NCAA tournament next season.

The crowd was actually about 6,000 less than average, but, according to the media, was still the largest so far in the NIT. I salute St. Johns for playing with heart. Tiger fans would love to be a member of the Big East.

Grey^ That 6000 less than average seems typical for an NIT game. I remember the last time UofL played in the NIT. The attendance was at about 70% capacity.

Still very impressed with the Tiger crowd. You guys rock some basketball.

I will not harp on you football program during march madness. Celebrate a very good win against the Johnnies and good luck.

Thought that ball would never go in. Sat on the rim for what felt like ages.
