Turmoil at USF
Allegations of their coach striking a playing during halftime of a game against Louisville. It'll be interesting to see how this all unfolds before January 2nd.

Quality. I wonder if the player was on a scooter and without a passport.

Does anyone else get this feeling between these internal problems and passport issues that USF is just going to phone in this game and forfeit. I seriously am having doubts whether this game is going to be played.

LOL..

Well...if distractions are what we needed to have a chance against USF, we're getting them.

Nope, because that will only screw USF in the long-run. If they don't play this game, bowls will most likely be hesitant to accept them in the future.

The only way it doesn't get played is if they don't get their passports.

I just really get the impression South Florida would rather not play the game. Just my opinion.

So, anyone want to email Leavitt a link to how to apply for unemployment benefits in Florida? He might be needing that information.

Their fan base does not really care about the game, the whole passport issue, building internal problems, cost of the event. Adding all those things up, I bet if you asked any USF administrator they would rather just stay home. I have a strong feeling the passport issue is going to be used as their excuse to get out of the game. I hope I'm wrong it is just a gut feeling Im starting to have.

Maybe him and Mangino can compare notes...

Normally I'd call you crazy, but I think there is a lot of truth in what you are saying.

MaddDawgz: I think your point may be valid. USF is having numerous problems and if legal action is taken against Leavitt (arrest), usually if you post bond you are not allowed to leave the jurisdiction. If USF's head coach is unable to show up because of a bail violation it would be wonderful PR for the university. Jesse the douche bag from ESPN is probably rethinking his prediction. One other note, if USF has to forfeit the game how does Vegas pay out on bets? Do people who bet on NIU collect?

I'm sure Vegas would refund all action on the game

Since the game would not have ever started, it would be no action, and all bets would be refunded. Similar to the way a rain out is treated in baseball betting.
