These UCiFers have to go around to every opponent we play and root for the opponent because they cant do it themselves.
Looking forward to a great game!

haha I wouldn't talk dude, I'd be pretty embarrassed to be talking smack as a BCS team w/ a 7-5 record that's scheduled 2 FCS teams this year,...lol SFU is a ******* joke. BTW how'd those lossess to Rutgers and to UCONN feel? I really hope you guys overlook us and give us a chance to turn a legit win into a stomping.

32. International Bowl, Northern Illinois (7-5) vs. USF (7-5), Jan. 2: Why didn't USF stay home and play in the St. Petersburg Bowl? It's not because the Bulls are scared of UCF, is it? As for the weather, there's a reason people up north (i.e., in Canada) head south (i.e., Florida) around the holidays; it's called "the cold." Yes, this game is in a dome. But, baby, it will be cold outside.

This is the worst thread ever.

1) "If you had any knowledge you wouldn't have attended UCF"

What does that even mean?

2) "its USF"

Who's USF is it?

3) SFU? Are you seriously trying to talk **** and then referring to them as San Francisco University?

4) Losses to Rutgers and UConn...How'd it feel losing to Toledo again? The MAC sucks and hands any decent team 3 conference wins per year. Quit being a moron.

+1,000. We have no right to talk about a team's schedule when all of our wins are against teams w/out a winning record. The USF guy wasn't even talking smack to NIU until h4life made his idiot comments. Plus Uconn is pretty good this year.

Do you think this UCFan3 could be the same guy as that guy "from Iowa" that was trying to get everyone to rip on Minnesota a couple years ago?

He didn't start the trash talking in this thread. You can defend NIU, but you questioning their schedule is not a very solid point of view. The MAC is very weak this year and our wins were not against good teams.

oh he wasn't?

I also missed the point where I said NIU was a MUCH better team and where our strength of schedule was harder. I was only saying USF shouldn't be talking too much smack b/c on paper they don't look to be that much better, or much more of a favorite than NIU

bullsalltheway wasn't talking smack about NIU. He was saying that UCF fans go to the boards of every USF opponent to encourage those teams because UCF wasn't able to beat USF. It's pretty well established that NIU has, in fact, beaten USF.

USF has our share of idiots who talk smack, but they typically keep to the USF boards.

no problem USFFan, I completely misread it and never thought about it that way, and I'm sorry. I not into the whole smack talk until I feel as if somebody starts it. Looking foward to playing you guys on the second and am glad we're playing a bigger conference team than somebody from the SBC like MTSU (wouldn't be as fun to watch IMO).

04-cheers to a good game, no hard feelings I hope

Its because they cant beat USF. The USF coach talks down about UCF all the time out in the open. It is a recruiting war down here and USF now talks about them being part of the "big four" Florida, FSU, Miami, and USF. They are all BCS schools.

For what it's worth (and it's not worth much), I love UCF and like to see them do well. It's really for no other reason than they're in Orlando and my family and I are huge Disney World fans and go to Orlando as often as possible. I always root for the Knights when I see them on TV. They've got a beautiful new stadium and, I think, could and should be a mid-major power every year.

Last time I checked the MAC has 5 winning teams out of 13 and an additional 4 teams that were 5-7. Remember MAC teams play 1 Div 1aa team not 2 Div 1aa teams unlike many Big East teams. The Big East has 8 teams with only 4 of them having at least 6 wins against Div 1a teams. !!!!

MAC has Five Bowl games with 3 favored to win and all those teams had at least 6 wins over Div 1aa teams.

In 2003, you did not beat us 37-6. Please check your facts.
We were 10-2 that year and 2-4 against ranked teams. We beat Alabama in Alabama, and Maryland(who beat W. Virginia in a bowl that year), IOwa State who nearly won the big 12 that year and lost to two ranked MAC teams, Toledo who were 10-2 and also never went to a Bowl(After dominating Penn State in Happy Valley that year) and BGSU who went to a Bowl.
Our top team that year was Miami Ohio under QB big Ben, who went 12-1 (only loss was to National Champions Ohio State by approx. 4 points and they dropped a TD pass! Despite being ranked 10th in the nation they were given a low Bowl against a 6-6 BCS squad.

Jim Leavitt is a great coach.
Florida State and W. Virginia were great wins.
Cincinnati L 17-34, Pittsburg L 14-41 and Miami L 10-31; tolerable losses.
Rutgers L 0-31 a team who's best win was div 1aa Texas Southern
and lost to a 4-8 Syracuse(2 wins coming against div 1aa teams) 13-31.
Why do so many Big East teams schedule 2 Div 1aa teams and weak ones at that?

You guys are truly 5-5 against div 1a teams with a roaring start and a wimpering ending? Are you guys unlucky or just plainly not really Bowl eligible?

Which USF team will show up to Toronto?
The one that beat W. Virginia or the one that lost to Syracuse and were shut out by Rutgers??

Apparently many = 2 of 8 big east teams. People, if you're going to try and post facts, do a little checking before you post please.
