WTF TG???
How in the Hell do you just sit on the ball up only one score against a team with a good offense that's going to get the ball to start the second half???

Absolutely bizarre. It seems like every other game he has one of these WTF? coaching decisions.

RE: WTF TG???
Playing it far too safe. Could've had a FG and extended that lead.

RE: WTF TG???
BG is absolutely awful. This Derek Jeter has no place on a football field.

Whoa...not sure what Buffalo's QB was thinking there on 4th down. 01-wingedeagle

Then again, if my receivers had just dropped those passes, I might be thinking run too. Good comeback win, BGSU!

Of course, I wouldn't want to be the Buffalo longsnapper right now. 05-hide

RE: WTF TG???
ENOUGH with the "why isn't TG coaching in a BCS conference?" talk. Absolutely horrendous decision to sit on the ball at the end of the first half. How do you even think for a second that an eight point lead is safe? And how do you not double Freddie Barnes on every single play? Terrible coaching.

They need to work on screen recognition, too. Every single time BG threw a screen, I'm yelling "screen" at my TV while every D-lineman is running at Sheehan. It's not that difficult guys - if the OL pushes you in the shoulder once and then lets you go...it's a screen pass.

RE: WTF TG???
Clawson was not much better. Using two timeouts early in the second half and not kicking the field goal midway through the fourth to keep the momentum.

Look out for BG down the stretch. They could get to 7-5 with three winnable games.

Yeah I actually found myself excited (no homo) while watching it. You knew Barnes was going to get loose eventually.

Total team loss, all 3 phases cracked at different times. When Maynard was hot (and before BG made adjustments) they should have kept rolling him out for big chunk yardage completions. They could have built up a big lead. Gill is still a very good leader but he is going to get questioned about getting conservative. This UB squad is very similar to last year, imo but without the +3 turnover margin every game and defensive TD's. That's the difference between winning these close games and losing them. This year it's UB making the critical mistakes and turnovers even though their Defense is arguably better and the Offense might be just as good as last year?!?

RE: WTF TG???
Only got to see the last few moments of the 2nd quarter then all of the second half. I thought BG's O-line looked horrific and Sheehan looked confused. But I have to give it up for our "D" which tightened things up when we needed it the most. Clutch run by Bullock (where was he most of the game) for a first and, 7, you're right. You knew it was just a matter of time before Freddie made a big play.

zibby - good call on the screens. On TV, we have the advantage fo the elevated perspective, but as a D-lineman, your taught to read the O-lineman's moves, which they clearly weren't doing.

RE: WTF TG???
All I can say is what the hell was wrong with Brandon that we didn't see Freddie Barnes tearing it up like this under his tenure? It seems like his first three seasons were wasted with how he is playing this year. He's having one of the best individual seasons by a MAC wide receiver......ever!
