Josh Hamilton
I'm sure you've seen the pictures of Josh on deadspin drinking with some college girls at a bar. He came out today and admitted he relapsed during spring training. Truthfully, I'm glad the Reds traded Hamilton, I know it looks bad now that Volquez is having major arm surgery but Hamilton has just too many issues for me.

For a recovering alcoholic having "a few" drinks is a big deal swoosh.

transfer his addiction? he had one wild night. its probably better to do that, than go cold turkey the rest of his life.

Josh Hamilton is a great athlete. I think he has overcome enough, and one misstep should not deter people from applauding his successes. And as a rangers fan, I think the way GM Jon Daniels and Nolan went through his trade was great. They sent several scouts to not only scout his athletic ability, but more importantly his character.

He was both. He would never sit at the same table as his teammates when they were on the road. It all started when he started hanging out at the tattoo parlor in his home town. Apparently they had some bad characters and he was very impressionable and they would take him to strip clubs. The story was in reader's digest.
