Special Thanks to MAC SChedulers In Order
Since there will be thousands of Temple Fans in Detroit Dec 4 for the MAC Championship Game, looks like MAC schedulers are hoping a few hundred will make their way up early and check out the WMU/Temple Basketball tilt in Kalamzaoo on Dec 1. I know I will.

That would be awesome, FilthyMommy. Usually a lot of UT fans go to support the conference and since its a long trip for Buffalo, Temple fans and UT fans looking to watch an exciting contest between CMU and Buffalo should help fill out the stands. I may pop up as well-I'll look for you- I'm guessing you'll be the unhygenic lady dragging a couple of kids behnd? 03-wink

Nah, she'll be the one holding the sign that reads, "bOWeLS are @ssholes!"

Actually, I take that back. That sign was invented by a pervy CMU alum who lives in Madison, WI, and revealed it to the CMU student body section at last year's CMU-bOWeL game to great hysterical laughter and applause04-rock!

I appreciate the MACC prediction, but it's not that far from Buffalo to Detroit- 4 1/2 hours via HWY 401 across southern Ontario. 03-nerd

The reason the Temple fan thinks that Buffalo is too far to travel is that at Temple, geography is limited to the extent of the Broad Street Subway. Broad and Pattison to the south, and Fernrock to the north. What else is there to know? Bufalo is too far from anything, and besides, you can't get there by subway.

Mostly tongue in cheek- I remember the huge Buffalo crowd at Cleveland one year for the MAC hoops tournament. Those folks were VERY excitable and Buffalo gave us all we could handle. My in-laws lived in Amherst for several years so I've made the trip.

Of course I really think Buffalo will be losing to Toledo in the MACC but at least I still have you going that far...03-wink
