Transformers
Good movie and lots of action. Has some plot but it has enough and Megan Fox with tons of sex appeal along with Mr. Lebouf. It is over 2 1/2 hours for anyone who doesn't like a long movie. They will never get a Oscar for the acting, maybe for the special effects though.

Going to see it tomorrow. Big G1 fan. Hope I'm not as disappointed as I was with first. I just don't think it can live up to my expectations, so I'm setting them low for this one.

Heard it was good. Too much comic relief, some of it not funny. They also said the action sequences can be difficult to follow, but that's Michael Bay for you.

I forget was it is rated, but I would not let anyone under the age of thirteen watch that movie. Some of the scenes were humorous, but I agree with the sentiment it tried the attempt of humor too much The reason was supposedly at the expense of the geeky guy going to college or at the family expense, but that is to be expected. It is based on a Saturday morning kids cartoon, so what did you expect?

Son said it was probably better than the first movie.
Working this fine, hotter than heck, weekend so the wife and I will more than likely see it Monday.

RE: Transformers
Saw it last night. Better than the first one.

Too much comic relief. Cut the twins out of the movie for sure. Maybe shorten down the part that the little pet truck had as well.

Good to see Optimus finally learned how to fight in this movie. He goes from getting owned in the first to not even having to try in this one basically.

If only college was really like the college scenes in this movie.

Focused too little on the Transformers. The Decepticons had some limited role, but the Autobots may as well not have even been in the movie. I understand humans need to be the main focus, but give the Autobots more than one line a piece.

No Ultra Magnus, and more importantly, no Rodimus Prime. Using the Rodimus storyline would have made this movie 100 times better. You can still do what you want at the end of the movie, but give Rodimus a role throughout the middle.

The movie was a great first hour. Then things started to go wrong for me. As a stand alone movie though, I liked it.

Saw this Sunday. Thought it was good. Could have done without those autobot twins.

Cut the twins are you serious? Please. Cut all the awful college humor out of the movie, but keep the twins. They were awesome. The terd room mate can go as well.

the movie is called Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. If the focus wasn't more about the Decepticons then why even give it this title? Just call it Transformers 2. The story was meant to have more about the decepticons. Hell I was happy I got to see Cybertron.

Lol Rodimus Prime. They can't just remake the old 80's transformers movie man. This is a different story all together. It isn't based off the cartoon either it is based off of the Hasbro Action Figures. Says so in the credits.

Personally it was just what I expected. It is a movie about Giant Robots from outer space that can transform into various differnt planes and automobiles. I can understand why you would need some filler. If they took anything out of the movie it should be mom and dad and the room mate.

By the way, who was the young woman that was a robot in human's clothing? I nearly forget about that in the movie, is she a new actress I have not heard of so far?

I have no idea, but lets hope in the future sex with robots won't be so harmful.

It was much more adult oriented than the first one, which was kind of disappointing to me. You know kids of all ages want to see it - but they really went overboard with the language and sexual themes. Its Megan Fox for Pete sake....just make her sweat a little and that is all you need to do.

ByrdDog, I totally understand you sentiments. Director Michael Bay did that in the first Transformers movie as well. I guess the director would justify that since the main character is older, that the movie would have more an adult theme as a result, with the young man going to college. It is based on action figure and a Saturday morning cartoon, those type of shows get away with sometime more adult themes than you would think.

The 80's cartoon movie had a better storyline. I'll say that.

The twins SUCKED.

Maybe if they played "You got the touch" you would have felt better about it?

Without a doubt, lol. I was hoping for it to at least make it into the credits.
