Flashes to host exempt tourney to tip-off '09-'10 season
Kent State will host the Hispanic College Fund Classic, a round robin, 4-team exempt tourney to start next season. Visiting Kent for the 3-day series of double-headers will be UAB (22-12), Wisc.-GB (22-11) and Samford (16-16).

Always good to have as many games as possible. Would be nice to have a bigger name in there. Will these draw fans?

Those really aren't bad schools. It reminds me when Toledo would host a tourny during the non-conference schedule.

DrTorch,
Ole Miss was going to come before they found the rest of the teams that were playing. Then they got scared of all the quality mid-major teams they would have to play.

That's probably my favorite sponsor of an event ever.

Nice to see another MAC school getting one of these. OU and Marshall are kinda sharing one.

We were trying to get a directional Arkansas, but BG cornered the market on them.

Shoulda told teams they'd get a chance to play "Kent." and let them think it was Kentucky. 03-razz
