failing industries like Detroit probably are for National Healthcare. For the simple reason they are already loaded down by the burdens of union contracts and Pension plans, it would be a cost to get rid of for the short run.

Though thats a better excuse to get rid of the Unions

Hey, I am about as hard to hurt as anyone. My house is paid for. My car is paid for. My truck is paid for. I don't owe anything but current balances on credit cards. I don't owe anybody anything. I've got a good bit of savings and investments (or at least I had this morning). I'm invested in a couple of businesses that are starting to make me some money, and they are in industries that I think are relatively recession-proof. I have military retirement (which also pays my medical) and a 401k and social security (for what that's worth). I have a government job that's not going away. I'm not saying this to boast, just to give you some perspective about where I'm coming from.

And I am absolutely terrified.

I really don't think these guys have a clue what they're doing, and I think they're going to take us all down with them before it's over. I abandoned my plans to bail out of the country becuase friends kept telling me I should give this guy a chance. I wish I were already overseas.

If we get the Fair Tax and the repealing of the 16th Amendment out of this, I'll concede. .....but it ain't happenin'.
