.

I just downloaded an episode of "Tour of Duty".

I haven't seen it in 20 Years.

The intro into the show is pretty hard to watch in some places ...

The ones where the 'Slicks' are hitting the LZ hard and the Soldiers are having to Unass as fast as they can and run for their lives with sh't flying over their heads just rips me to pieces.

What ever God you pray too or ever how you ask for someone to receive help, I beg all of you to simply think of a Soldier tonight, that somewhere in this world, is Cold, Scared, Tired, Lonely, and hold him in your heart for as long as you can. It may be the last time anyone ever hugs him before he dies.

They do an Impossible Job and they do it Standing Tall and Straight Up.

Give someone in Uniform a Shooting Star tonight regardless of Race, Religious Beliefs, or Hatred for the War Fronts - - you don't know what it is like hitting the ground off a Chopper and being shot at all the way across an Open Landing Zone and if you do, God be with you This Night.

So let us dispense with all the Old Walls and Lines that Part Us and for a Simple Single Magical Moment, let us all once again be Americans with Uniformed Brothers who are In Harms Way to Care and Pray for ....

They Need Us GUYS !!!!! They Need to Know We CARE ....

Thank You all United States Uniformed Armed Forces ..... THANK YOU !!!!!!

(no replies necessary - use the words for that Soldier in your Prayer)

.

Trip---------------- that was awesome. I'm saying a prayer tonight. You do have a passionate way with words.

For the 10 family members who are veterans and people I know who are serving now, my thoughts will be on them today and the rest of this weekend.

Yeah, too bad Obama is about to cut 10% of their budget. Maybe that's the reason for this:

I'm in the defense game. I know the the outcome. I apologize if I'm not all chipper when a sitting president is wanting to make this country weaker.

Quickest reply to a post, ever.

I said a prayer for you then I had one for Rebel.

I do pray for them. I pray that they can remain the best cared for, best equipted, best trained, and above ALL MOST SUPPORTED troops in the world. I especially pray for the Vietnam Vets that are getting none of the above, because Jane Fonda, John Kerry and other ilk portraied us as "baby killers" to the World.

I was being serious. I do pray for them. I guess I have to add SOAF to the list. I hope I have enough time in my day to continue this.

Trip, you know I'm not a religious man, but I still remember a few prayers from my days in Catholic school. I'll crank a few out tonight just in case I'm wrong.

To all the people involved with defending this country, either in the military, a conrtractor, suppliers, or what ever, you all have my sincerest respect and thanks.

Praying for them every day....to stay safe and come home.
