They are just trying to give us the shaft like the rest of the big money industries. But I have to admit this gives a whole new meaning to the term "Stimulus Package"! :rolltide:

Indeed. Probably about the first Hail Mary attempt of Larry Flynt's life.

Flynt has always had his own way of making a point politically. I don't think any one else was as well positioned to protest the bailouts ironically as he was, which is what I assume he was doing.

I guess he could be sincere, but I sincerely doubt it.

I read it as a parody of the bailout requests, too. Plus a way to get more free advertisement.

I also read it as a parody. I think the real message, consistent with his profession, was, "The public is once again getting screwed."

It would be more effective if the industry sent Jenna Jameson and Tara Patrick up to Capitol Hill to knock on Congressmen's doors to ask for a bailout.

"Tara Patrick here to see Congressman Rangel"..

Press would be all over that....watching them go door to door...and watching the Congressmen run for the safety of their offices.

Let's hope that this issue doesn't pop up again, and again, and ....
