Sugar Mountain and Steamboat Springs
Have any of ya'll ever been to either of those? My husband and I are thinking of doing a skiing trip. Sugar Mountain would be the cheapest and closest, but of course you can't beat Colorado.

I don't know about skiing, but that last line reminded me of a meat company years ago that advertised "You Can't Beat Our Meat". I always thought that was the best advertising line I ever heard. OK, I'm finished. (03-lmfao) You can have your thread back.

Hey, I didn't make up the slogan. I was just passing it on for the public's benefit.

I lived in Hillbillietown for a year and used to snap photos of some of their more ridiculous signs. A couple of my favorites were a grocery store with a big sign word for word as you referenced. Another favorite that sticks out is Bogus Auto Parts.

Steamboat without a doubt. I go skiing two or three times a year and have been to Steamboat a number of times. Headed to Beaver Creek in two weeks then to Alta in March.
