03-lmfao Texas.

I NEVER want to hear about how great Texas is again.

This will get even more Californians to move there, thinking “maybe Texas isn’t really too conservative for us after all.”

It’s all downhill from here for Texans.

What's going to be fun is watching the different factions of the Dem party fight against each other. It's been happening in the background for a little while, but now it will likely take center stage. Grab your popcorn.

RE: This is going to be fun
What would have been fun was seeing the republican party do what the people voted for 2024...

Everything people that think is going to be funny seeing the democrats fight over the next 2 years. Wont be so fun(ny) in 2028 when they start passing them into law.

Republicans never fail, to shite the bed, the people give them control of. They still dont understand WORKING AMERICANS. Not those of you that are still living the American dream, even if it's cost more. But real working American's (former democrats) that gave them full control in 2024

So dont laugh too much.....

democrats really mean it when they say things, unlike republican politicians. They just need the tools to do it and get it done. Go ahead and book it, 2028-2030, they will have the means. Then that laugh will be, we headed for civil war. Of course that is just as silly thinking as any democrat

I have a feeling they will be counting on Trump vetoes. Here me out. They'll send a bunch of stuff to Trump, which he will rightly veto. However, they will use those vetoes as ammunition against Republicans during the next presidential election. It'll be there, "See, the Dems are trying to help the American people but Trump/Republicans blocked it all!" "Vote for a Dem for POTUS and we'll be able to pass all this stuff!"

Exactly what I said. Those vetoes simply become Dem talking points for the 2028 campaign.

To be effective, "talking points" require someone who can deliver them coherently.

Democrats have the media to do that for them. Republicans in 2028 need someone who can speak in whole paragraphs (Vance; Rubio; DeSantis; Cruz have all shown the ability to do so.)

Either that, or pray that the Democrats go with someone as completely incomprehensible, even with media cover, as Kamala Harris/Tim Walz.

I think it's ironic how the Dems who are celebrating this big victory, and reminding us how bad Trump is, somehow completely tolerated and ignored Biden for 4 years.

This is an oversimplification, but undecided and new young voters saw the dysfunction of a senile Biden presidency, and the craziness of him getting to the first debate. A lot of those votes swung away from Trump without guardrails. Next couple years we'll see new party lines.
