I was having a spirited discussion a month ago with a family member who is a college-educated liberal white woman. I asked her what policies Acton espoused that she liked and all she could give me was the platitudes like Kindness, Empathy and Hope. When I asked for more specifics, she could not articulate anything other than saying she was a female and a doctor. This family member is not the only one who feels that way- I think for somewhere to 30-40% of the voters in this country, these emotions and feelings are all they need, evidence to the contrary be damned.

I could have died when I saw the add with Amy's mom. The most idiotic thing Vivek ever tried. Vivek's name is mud. His heritage will work against him moving forward because everyone will consider him a hustling con-man who wants to bring an ass load of Indians into the U.S. on H1B Visas. At the start of Trump's term, I think he was on record as being a staunch supporter of H1B.

All the Ohio GOP had to do was run just about anyone else for Governor. Jon Husted wanted to be governor. Lt Gov Jim Tressel would have won in a landslide.

Well, this has already been explained numerous times, including the post replying to yours. Everything Trump has done or is trying to do has been overshadowed by the high prices and the high prices are a direct result from the Iran war. I know you are blinded by your love for Trump, but most everyone else can admit that Trump completely mishandled Iran.

I don't even like Trump. I like a lot of the GOP policies, but Trump has screwed the pooch most of this year, and certainly has mishandled the Iran war bigly.

But like I said before, I don't know a single person who gives a **** about Iran.

I supported the attack on Iran at the beginning, Tom. But it has turned into a fiasco. Fortunately, there have been very few (relatively speaking) American military deaths.

Seems Trump and Hegseth had no plan. Maybe Iran will forever be without a nuclear weapon thanks to this war and I will give Trump credit if so. That is the hope.
