Bobby Collins: 48-30-2 (61.25%)
Jim Carmody: 37-29 (56.06%)
Curley Hallman: 23-11 (67.65%)
Jeff Bower: 119-83-1 (58.87%)
Larry Fedora: 34-19 (64.15%)
Ellis Johnson 0-12 (0.00%)
Todd Monken: 13-25 (34.21%)
Jay Hopson: 28-23 (54.90%)
Will Hall: 14-30 (25.92%)
Charles Huff: 7-5 (58.33%)

Todd Monken was the absolute best coach of that bunch. Wish we could have kept him for a few more years.

And then today they hired Will Hall, which would feel like a punch to the gut if I was a Tulane fan. Maybe he’ll do better at Tulane, but after their last two hires this is surprising.

They actually came pretty close to dropping to D3 in the late 90s or early 00s.

The stat I like about Tulane is they have more SEC championships than State.

On the sentiment that Hall was a mole at USM, it seems anyone we bring in with strong SEC ties doesn't do well at USM.
What "strong SEC ties" did Hall have?

Tried what? Shawn Clark, for all of the hate he gets, was apparently doing better with what he had to work with than anyone realized at the time.

And remind me again what ESPN is paying ($) the AAC for a game that only 8,100 people in the big city of Charlotte, on a night when the Wx was great, cared to see it???

Hope JMU likes empty stadiums. They're going to get to play in them year after year.

A good year for UNT and the same after cancelling afternoon classes for the game.

Monken's record needs some color added as he had to rebuild from the absolute scorched earth brought on by Elloss. In 2015, Monken went 9-5 and won a division.

No portal to rebuild with and a limit on number of recruits, too.

where were you during my spygate year (I pissed off too many) ... we only won 4 in 2 yrs. after the E'12L debacle... everyone hated Monk (Chi-town boys don't fit here) ... all you had to do was have a voodka and red bull with him and Carr to find out what was really inside that man...

I'm at the NE corner thru the fence giving real time updates who our QB was gonna be ... and it's like baseball and Maddux or Gibson, when #11 threw a 40 yrd, dart down the west sideline, I posted, "who the fk is this guy ... we have another QB."

we're never going to be the giant killer again ... however, this team with 'Ba-lah-key', has no quit in 'em ... I can only prescribe that as most important how we move forward into the abyss how all the NIL eventually plays out!!!

I'll die bleeding black and gold ... and there are still diamonds in the rough ... we just gotta find 'em...
