JMU is leaving. I won't root for them to win any game they have left. Go Dogs! Except Tech has to win it first. They surely could but this is the SBC. Things happen.

Yup, SoAl has the advantage right now, esp. With the Halloween game at home. And we have to travel to Troy right after, then deal with our arch-rival SoMiss at home. ArkSt beat one of the top 4 East teams in GaSt (also a big rival), and we finish where JMU escaped at GaSo.

Nothing is automatic.

Way better to have a team we just brought in win it than one on the way out. Instantly cements LaTech as a great addition. Lets everyone know the SBC will be just fine without JMU.

I'm surprised JMU isn't made to forfeit their conference championship appearance since they're leaving. I'm aware of the monetary benefits to the conference if they were to make the CFP but still feel like that's something conferences do or did.

Good Lord, stop all this "Tech to the CCG" stuff. South Alabama can seize first place in the West this Saturday and never relinquish that lead. The CCG could end up as App State vs. South Alabama, or some other combination.

If Tech finishes out going 3-2 the rest of the way, I will be satisfied. That would leave us at 6-2 in the conference. But, there is no guarantee (of course) of going 3-2, we might limp in finishing up 1-4.

You guys clearly don’t understand La Tech. We will be pressed to win it all then the coach will put the entire team on probation for being five minutes late to Basket weaving class. It’s the nature of all things Tech. I will believe it when I see it.

The beauty of our quarter system. I believe we had 5-6 starters suspended for the 2014 CuSA champ game since our terms end late Nov. 2019 probation too bit us for non-academic conduct
