Thanks Russia
https://www.cnbc.com/2026/10/09/trump-pu...rkets.html

President Donald Trump said Friday that Russia will supply more than 4 million tons of diesel to the global market under a deal he struck with President Vladimir Putin during a phone call.

Russia will immediately supply more than 300,000 tons of diesel, followed by 500,000 tons in November, and 1 million tons immediately thereafter, Trump said in a post on Truth Social. Moscow will then deliver another 3 million tons of diesel based on the condition of Russia’s refineries, Trump said.

-----
In case you're wondering there are about 2800 gallons of diesel in a ton. Ton seems like a weird measurement.

So all in that's about 4.8 million tons or 13 billion gallons.

Putin has an opening to propose a ceasefire right now. Current lines are the new border between Ukraine and Russia. Watch EU and US and everyone else out there support it.

Tons is how they measure cargo tanker loads. Gallons would be a weird measurement for that amount of volume

Russia pledging to send Fuel it DOES NOT HAVE.......hmmmm.....why does this seem like Lucy holding the ball and Trump readying himself before the ball is yanked out from under him.

Lets Review

Russia refineries are operating at half capacity

Russia does not have enough fuel for itself much less exporting it

Ukraine and Germany are reducing the number of Shadow Fleet weekly

Bottom Line this Diesel pledge is nothing more than hot air

I'll use the old Missouri saying SHOW ME

Until then its nothing more than more lies from Russia. Gullible 101

Based on what little I know about this topic, I have tended to agree with B-Dragon's past assessments. And this one looks sound.

RE: Thanks Russia
Before you get all excited you should know that the US consumes about 491k metric tonnes of diesel a day.

So Russias immediate shipment of 300k isn’t even a days worth.

Not going to move the needle on pricing.

Yeah, The cash from lifting sanctions means a lot more to Russia than the Diesel does for us.

This is spinning Trump helping Russia as Russia helping us.

The US is a net exporter of diesel. We produce more than we use. Even after refineries have been shut down due to the green new scam, we still produce more than we use.

Thats why Trumps threat of the shutdown of diesel exports worked.

The world wide diesel refining capacity is thin due to shutting down of refining capcities in the US and the world and removing Russias refined diesel from the market due to Biden*s stupidity in basically telling russia they could invade ukraine a little bit. Therefore any amount you bring to the market in adddition will bring the price down. And this is in addition to the G7 releasing from their SPR.

Getting diesel prices down for the health of the economy is more important than a strong-arm approach towards Russia.

Can't believe I agree with you on anything. Most of your of your posts are a bastion of denials trying your hardest to condone behavior that everyone including yourself know is clearly wrong yet you trudge on through the septic sludge with goggles on in hopes you can keep your conscience clean.

Cleary either Trump is delusional or he doesn't learn from mistakes in dealing with Russia or its just noise to take the pressure off high diesel prices which in turn will be passed on to consumers.

If Trump doesn't agree with Z cut him off. Laughable at best. Not gonna happen because too much has already been invested by Americans into Ukraine.

Bottomline Trump is NOT the one taking hits on infrastructure and civilian casualties and is only looking at his situation. ZERO EMPATHY to the pain Russia has caused and is still causing. Josie Whales is alive and well in Ukraine,

Trump would do himself a favor and STFU about Ukraine destroying Russian assets and if he did say anything at all it should be:

YOU CAN STOP THIS ANY TIME YOU WANT, IF NOT YOUR COMPLAINING IS FALLING ON DEAF EARS.

Btw, Ukraine is now hitting Russian Data Centers as well as Refineries and distribution warehouses deep inside Russian.

No part of Russia is now safe from attack. Reap what you sow

Germany has all but said it wants to destroy the entire Russian Shadow fleet and as long as the proxy Ukraine lives the number of the fleet reduces everyday.

Biden Admin were total idiots and the fact they fleeced their lackeys into believing he was coherent for years shows the complete disconnect from reality those on the left have. Sleight of hand twist of fate 101
