it has to be better than Dark Wolf (the prequel) ... that was unwatchable...
what was really surprising was how good season 2 of The Gentlemen turned out ... was quite dark for Guy (and he's one sadistic twisted fk) ... the writing was outstanding ... I won't say it 'smoked' season 1, but it was markedly better ... that's not easy to accomplish when season 1 was a smash...
and friggin' Reacher just keeps getting worse by the season ... season 4 was a joke...

well, I'm at ep 2.x into season 2 ... I should be finished before the WS begins ... good golly, it's friggin' awful ... who in the fk writes and directs this lame arse bs...

Reacher is unwatchable. I tried to watch the first episode of the Terminal List but was distracted. It didn't grab me like the first season did, but I'll rewatch when the old lady isn't here whining about wanting to watch the new Matlock (which is surprisingly good, btw).
The Gentlemen is outstanding.
Speaking of well-written, well-produced, and very well-acted, check out the Diplomat. Keri Russell is outstanding but doesn't look nearly as good as she did in The Amerikans. Of course she's a little older now. Don't get me wrong, she's still very fit.
East of Eden is pretty darn good so far even if it doesn't start out like the book.
I have returned to being a TV addict and one thing I've learned is that almost everything shown these days is exactly alike.

yeah, I'm a Yuge Guy Ritchie fan ... he's starting to go a tad repetitive ... but when they want you crankin' out a few a year, it's not easy to sustain the A grade ... s2 of The Gentlemen exceeded my expecations...

I was surprised with East of Eden ... not that it bothers me, but they could've toned down the 'raunchy' ... it was B+/A- worthy...
to the final para, you're 'write' ... the writers have become wayyyyyyy toooooooooooo laaaaaaaaaaaaaazy belting out content...
like yourself, I have quite a bit of down time due to my body falling apart over the past few years ... it's become difficult to find any new content that is decent ... thank the good goodies for sports and the ability to >>> when req'd ... I barely see commercials these days (hdmi from my cpu to a 55" that's five feet in front of me ... wireless keyboard and mouse makes it too easy)
