Democratic U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico said Thursday that 21 current and former Republican officials and party figures are endorsing his campaign against Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton in Texas.
“We’re bringing Texans together onto one team to take power back for working people,” Talarico wrote in the announcement. “Because the real fight in this country isn’t left versus right—it’s top versus bottom.”
Talarico, a state representative and Presbyterian seminarian, is facing Paxton in the November 3 general election for a Texas seat Republicans have long regarded as safely theirs.
....
The endorsements mark the launch of “Republicans for Talarico,” a campaign coalition comprising current and former Republican officeholders, judges, party delegates and political advisers who have crossed party lines to back the Democrat. Some of the Republicans said their support was motivated largely by Paxton’s conduct, rather than not supporting the Republican Party, while also praising Talarico’s character and willingness to work across party lines.
....
The Republican endorsements of Talarico follow two recent cases in which longtime GOP staffers joined Democratic Senate campaigns in traditionally Republican states.
Talarico’s campaign hired Jacob Smith, who spent five years working for Republican Senator John Cornyn as a deputy legislative director and policy adviser. “I’ve worked for Republicans like Senator Cornyn my entire career, but this year I’m proud to be joining James Talarico’s campaign,” Smith said. He praised Talarico’s focus on working people while sharply criticizing Paxton’s record.

It’s as if a Republican made a list of “Democrats” with Jeff Van Drew, Joe Lieberman, Zell Miller, RFK Jr, Tulsi Gabbard, etc. — and I guess now you could put Fetterman in there, too.
Talarico’s list is awesome for several reasons, but putting Adam Kinzinger in there is just next-level absurd. The others are obscure/irrelevant and mostly haven’t supported any GOP for anything since Mitt Romney (if him), but they are at least *from* *Texas*. Wtf does Adam Kinzinger have to do with this?

There’s no denying a Senate race has national implications. Adam Kinzinger is a former Capitol Hill lawmaker, an interested party, and a founding member of the Republicans for Talarico organisation. The group plans to expand from this core.

You mean "organization", sir. we speak American English here, not the King's English. Also, Kinzinger's a Never Trumper. He might as well have left the Republican Party.
And it's rather fitting you're posting this around the one year anniversary of Charlie Kirk's assassination, which you claimed was perpetrated by a "groyper" even though the alleged shooter, Tyler Robinson, is a leftist whose DNA and fingerprints were found on the trigger and the bullet casings that were found at the scene, including the one that was from the bullet that struck Kirk. But you never walked that one back, did you? No, you didn't. Well, now's the time, Gitanole. Admit you were wrong about that. (But you're not going to. You're going to maintain it was "disgruntled right-wingers" who killed Kirk when the facts say otherwise.)

Well, that does it, I'm gonna vote for the Freak...and hold my nose.
LOL, yeah sure, I wouldn't vote for Low T for dogcatcher.
You know something, the Bible speaks of someone who even tricks some Christians and if this is the man the Bible speaks of we're in trouble. Voting for Low T is like voting for Imadummi...stupid.

Nothing could be more of a propaganda construct than "Republicans for Talarico". Its impossible for a Republican to be "for Talarico" and still believe in virtually any Republican principals---mainly since Talarico himself is the virtual antithesis of almost every imaginable Republican principal. What you have here in this group is either some Republicans that dont like Paxton---or more likely----people who are not actually Republicans at all.

Far fewer times than Paxton has chopped half of the words from a Talarico comment to completely change the original message.

I was referring to the multiple times Paxton has chopped words out to change context.
Like changing Talaricos full quote of ""Our border should be like a front porch — it should have a welcome mat out front and a lock on the door" to:
"Our border should be like a front porch — it should have a welcome mat out front".
I can show multiple others.
By the way, do you know the forum and subject matter in which Talarico referred to 6 genders? And do you recall the following sentences from him in that forum?
Or are you just fixated on the quote in isolation? My guess is you dont give a **** about the context and the following comments. Lets see.

Too stupid and relying on nothing but 5th grade garbage is a helluva way to go through life. Bummer for you all.
A serious note here just for your benefit, if you are going to post a derogatory couple of sentences, create something that sounds like an adult composed it. The above sounds really rather ridiculously juvenile.
Just trying to help you out here. No need for a lengthy dotted out reply.
